How to read these pages
- Level vs full pool — for reservoirs where the operator publishes a pool level (e.g. Lake Lanier 1,071 ft), we show how far above or below it the lake is, plus the seasonal target for today where the Corps or TVA publish one.
- How full — percent of the conservation pool, where the operator reports storage.
- Normal for the date — every gauge is compared with its own record for today’s calendar date: the colored label is the percentile (USGS WaterWatch classes).
- Rivers — flow in cubic feet per second, gage height, and NWS flood stages where the river is forecast.
